Spring Cleaning Crafternoon

At the library we are ready for Spring! And what better way to prepare for warmer weather than to clear out the old to make room for the new (without being wasteful!). Help us turn craft supplies into wonderful works of art! Bring something you're working on or start fresh. We will have a wide variety of materials to choose from! 

 

This is an all ages program recommended for ages 4+.

Not-So Tortured Poets Department

Saturday, April 5 at 11am

Leave your typewriter at home in this interactive workshop which will help you learn to line break and get your rhythm on for National Poetry Month. Poet and novelist Fox North (our Teen and Adult Programmer) will bring new exercises and techniques to teens and tweens, with opportunities to share work with peers in a supportive environment. This workshop is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.

Celebrate spring and new beginnings with a planter and a seed! Decorate your planter pot anyway you'd like, then as it dries pick a seed to plant inside.

Homeschool Hangout

Monday, April 14 at 11am

Calling all local homeschoolers! Join us at the library on the second Monday of the month for a fun and educational program centered on STEM, stories, and crafts! Each session will feature a book or two and then a hands-on project. For children in grades 1+ please.
